PHOENIX brings together leading technology developers and research institutions to accelerate the advancement and industrial deploymnet of Power-to-X technologies. Through close collaboration across the entire innovation chain, the project creates a unique environment for developing, testing, and validating sustainable energy systems under realistic operating conditions.

The project partners contribute complementary expertise ranging from electrochemical system development and plant engineering to energy infrastructure, industrial integration, digitalization, and large-scale operation. This interdisciplinary cooperation enables the rapid transfer of innovative concepts into scalable industrial applications.

The PHOENIX partners and their roles in the consortium are introduced in the following sections. The consortium is coordinated by the Institute of Energy Technologies, IET-1 of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
